Terms of Service

Short version: You buy a perpetual license for personal use on your own machines. Linux is free. No subscription. Not happy for any reason? We'll refund you within 30 days — no questions asked.
1. Who we are
CoveSync is developed and sold by bazzaztech (ABN 16 831 278 845), Australia. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean bazzaztech. References to "you" mean the individual purchasing or using the software.
2. What you are purchasing
When you purchase CoveSync, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal license to install and use the software on your own devices. This is a one-time payment — there is no subscription and your license does not expire.
Linux is free. No purchase or license file is required to use CoveSync on Linux.
A single purchase covers both Windows and macOS. You may install and use CoveSync on any Windows or macOS machines you personally own or control.
3. What you may do
- Install and use CoveSync on your own personal or work machines
- Use CoveSync to sync files between your own devices
- Keep and use your license file indefinitely, including on a new machine if you reinstall
4. What you may not do
- Distribute, sell, or transfer your license file to another person
- Use CoveSync to provide a paid service to third parties (e.g. as part of a managed service or hosting product)
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
- Remove or alter any copyright or license notices in the software
5. License delivery
Your license file is emailed to the address you provide at purchase. Keep a copy — it is required to activate CoveSync on Windows and macOS. If you lose it, contact us at [email protected] with your order details and we will re-issue it.
6. Updates
Your license entitles you to all updates within the current major version (e.g. all v1.x releases). We make no commitment to release updates on any particular schedule, but we aim to fix significant bugs promptly. Major version upgrades, if any, may require a separate purchase.
7. Refund policy
We offer a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. If you are not satisfied with CoveSync for any reason, contact [email protected] within 30 days of purchase with your order ID and we will issue a full refund.
If you want to try before you buy, CoveSync is fully free on Linux — it runs the same core software as the Windows and macOS versions.
8. No warranty
CoveSync is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. You use it at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, bazzaztech's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of CoveSync is limited to the amount you paid for the software. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
10. Australian Consumer Law
If you are an Australian consumer, you may have rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by these terms, including statutory guarantees that the software will be of acceptable quality and fit for its described purpose. Nothing in these terms is intended to limit those rights.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of CoveSync after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
